Annual Tualatin River Discovery Day - June 18, 2011 - Cook Park to Brown's Ferry Park

The Tualatin Riverkeepers have designed a trip that’s very special for families with children. It's a little shorter than their normal trips but they will have family nature activities at Brown's Ferry Park. For those who want to paddle more, there will be a side trip to the Lake Oswego Canal. Bring your own boat our rent one of ours for $30. Click here to reserve your space and/or rent a boat.

The Riverkeepers need help on various jobs:
· Registration/Greeters
· Traffic Control
· Boat Porters
· Dock Assistants
· Fleet Haulers
· Equipment Assistants
· Safety Boats and more!

Mid-Summer Night's Paddle
July 23rd, Cook Park
3 launch times: 5 p.m., 5:30 and 6 p.m.

Boat Rentals at Cook Park
Soon, you will be able to rent a canoe or kayak from Tualatin Riverkeepers at the Cook Park boat launch in Tigard. The service will operate on Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day.


Tualatin Riverkeepers Nature Day Camp
TRK has a summer full of day camp adventures planned with new activities and a new location, the Summer Creek Natural Area in Tigard. Two camp sessions still have room for your campers:
July 11-15 Adventure 3: Nature Art & Canoeing, Ages 7-10, Summer Creek Natural Area, Tigard
July 25-29 Adventure 4: Fishing & Kayaking, Ages 11-13, Summer Creek Natural Area, Tigard
